Terms of Use

1. Services Overview

• Flexible Operating Hours:
  • Vendors set and publish their own daily service hours via the Platform at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Orders may only be placed and accepted during these published hours.
• Order Acceptance & Processing:
  • Orders placed during your operating hours will be transmitted to your dashboard for confirmation.
  • Meals must meet hygiene, quality, and packaging standards in compliance with applicable laws.
• Payment & Commission:
  • At checkout, customers are charged the full order amount plus a 10% Platform commission.
  • Payments are aggregated and processed every 24 hours.
  • Funds are remitted to the Vendor's designated account within 24 hours, net of Platform commission.
• Delivery Fulfillment:
  • Meals may be delivered using Mealtym’s delivery network or your own riders.
  • Consistent branding is encouraged; packaging or apparel requirements are optional.

2. Vendor Duties

• Maintain accurate, real-time menu information—items, prices, availability.
• Confirm and prepare orders promptly and hand off to delivery personnel without delay.
• Address order or quality issues within 2 hours of receiving notification.
• Ensure staff conduct themselves courteously and professionally.

3. Mealtym Commitments

• Provide a secure, intuitive platform with dashboard tools for order and menu management.
• Offer technical support and vendor onboarding assistance.
• Promote vendors through in-app listings, marketing campaigns, and social media.
• Provide transparent, daily transaction reports.

4. Financial Terms

• Commission Fee: 10% of gross order value, automatically applied at checkout.
• Payment Schedule: Daily payment cycle; net proceeds disbursed within 24 hours.
• Processing Fees: Mealtym absorbs payment gateway fees unless specified otherwise.

5. Termination

• Either party may end this Agreement with 30 days’ written notice.
• Mealtym may terminate or suspend access immediately if this Agreement is breached.

6. Data Privacy

• Vendors may access customer/order data solely for service delivery.
• All data must be handled in compliance with Nigeria’s NDPR and other applicable regulations.

7. Liability & Indemnity

• You are solely responsible for food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Mealtym’s liability is limited to Platform commission refunds or order value where applicable.
• Vendors agree to indemnify Mealtym for claims arising from foodborne illness, allergic reactions, or regulatory breaches.

8. Dispute Resolution

• Disputes should be addressed through direct negotiation.
• Unresolved disputes will be resolved through arbitration under Nigerian law.

9. Amendments

These terms may be updated from time to time. Mealtym will post updates at least 7 days prior to changes taking effect.
